The Parks Protection programme operates under an extremely tight budget with funds sufficient for essential expenses and the Park would like to thank the following donors who have contributed to improving the Parks Protection programme capability to protect it’s and neighbouring Parks fauna and flora.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK HONORY RANGERS – Donation of fuel and oil for workboat patrolling of Massingir Dam and Elefantes Gorge, one of the world’s highest density crocodile breeding areas.

WESSA – Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa  – Funding for a Field Ranger incentive scheme to reward anti-poaching success including poacher arrests and seizure of poaching equipment.

SENQU – Outdoor Clothing and Equipment suppliers – Donation of quality equipment and clothing to reward anti-poaching successes related to the location and removal of snares within the Park.

CESVI – Italian NGO – :Funding of Field patrol equipment, GPS equipment, Computers and software to support Protection and Human Wildlife Conflict reporting, mapping and data management programme.

Agence Française de Développement (AFD) – Implementing Agency for France’s official development assistance to developing countries – : Funding support for new Protection uniforms and boots and radio network maintenance.

Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) –Implementing Agency for Federal Republic of Germany’s official development assistance – : Funding support for purchase of tents and patrol equipment and for the construction of Mapai North region Regional Field Ranger base.
